Robin Holmes's intro.

I've been a player of zombie games for awhile, seen most of the films, and know quite a bit more then I should about the woods. I generally don't get out much, but when I do, I'm usually gone for days. I fence, and do own my own sword. I'm all sorts of frendly, and sometimes wrong, so if I am, by all means correct me. *edit* I do tend to gravitate towards being at my fiance's more often then not. So if I don't respond right away...you know why. Also, she gets priority when the zombies attack. I've been teaching her with both Glithonel and Fool's Gambit, so she can handle her own. I haven't let her at the crossbow yet. Need to conserve ammo.

Hey Robin,
Nice to have you here
Tell us a little more about the sword (I think you made it, right?)

Which one? I made both. The bastard sword that borders on two handed sword, is about four and a half feet of carbon steel. Custom grip, fitted to my hands. Weighs roughly three pounds. Ground diamonds litter both sides of the blade. It was single handedly the most expensive thing I've ever made. Cuts through darn near anything. Took me 2 months to make. I named it Fool's Gambit. It was the warm up for my pride and joy, my Italian style rapier. Less versatile, but more dangerous, it is. It measures five feet of forged carbon steel, from pommel to flashing tip. Again, it's custom made for my hand, and how I use it. Because it's less of a slashing weapon, I didn't bother with the diamond dust. But I did invest in an ebony handle. It's actually less fancy then Fool's Gambit, but then, this was built to be the "workhorse" of my personal little armoury I've built up over the years. I've played around with names for it, but nothing's really stuck. I'm taking suggestions.

I'd be interested in seeing photos of those, they sound intriguing
If you want to post a poll in the off topic section asking for help naming your Rapier, you might get some good ideas.

Sounds like a plan. Unfortunately, I have no working cameras.

To be honest, I'm not entirely sure I want to take pictures of them. They're not even close to professional quality blades. Definitily not photo material.
