Shooting, reloading, gunsmithing (minor stuff)
Hunting, fishing, but mostly just hiking.
Video games, console and portable
Movies and books.
Gardening
Mine are mostly seasonal, I garden and fish in the summer, hunt and hike in the fall and spring mostly and reload all winter to shoot all my ammo away in the warmer months. The video games, movies and books could easily fall under training as well as hobbies, since most pertain to zombies or survival. I take my Nintendo DS to work so I can use Touch the Dead and Resident Evil:Deadly Silence as training aids during downtime.

Honestly, most of these don't come as much of a surprise to me Smiley

I started to get into paintball back in the '80s but I haven't had much time for it over the last 15 years or so... maybe someday I'll have time again, I agree that it should be good zombie prep training.

Girls are just as welcome as anybody, especially if they hunt and write, writing being another of my rainy day passtimes. Also proud to say that I actually enjoy sewing, but never learned to knit or crochet very well.

Paintball for sure, I enjoy hunting but for zombies
U need close quarters urban combat set in a fast
Paced environment. Also useful for human opponents,
Because any of us that live in a large city know that
Looting and rioting will be more of a threat before
U see zed 1...

Yeah I love left 4 dead and resident evil as much as
Any cat in here but it's not really training because
We're just sitting on our buts (don't give me that
Wii crap) its just fun. It also grows our ranks so
Hopefully there will be some like minded survivors
We'll run across and not just millstones waiting to
Be worm food slowing us down. I swear to god if I run
Across a survivor that asks me what those dead things
Walking around are I'm just gonna plug him and save
Us both the grief...

I also enjoy martial arts (kenpo, akido, judo) not too
Shabby with a katana either… machines are also a
Hobby of mine (automotive, mills, lathes etc.)
I'm currently employed as a machine tech for a spring
Company in the o.c., if you got any questions about
Springs I'm the guy (sob…sob) but seriously I do like
My job I got 2 spend 6 mos. In singapore training for
It so hey got any questions about singapore in general
Lemme know....let's see what else.

Too much for now sorry for the long post...

                                Cheers,

babe, i can suggest a good 3 or 4 lol. Left 4 Dead... all time best. great game PERIOD! Touch the Dead, good game if your on the go. Same with Resident Evil: Deadly Silence. Another would have to be Resident Evil 4 for any system that has it. I think its best for the Wii because you aim alot better than the game cube or ps2. Srry to ramble like that just helping someone out. Anyway, my hobbies include hunting, writing (been working on a story for about 2 years), playing ALOT of video games (pretty much my life right there....sad i know), getting on zombie forums, love em! And honing my skills in survival and gun training. Right now im trying to find a botany guide so as to learn alittle herblore so i know whats edible and whats not out in the forests.

Gaming is good zombie prep as well as a fun hobby. Watch movies for ideas, get into sports or martial arts to keep the body sharp. Your local library is a wealth of information useful in a zombie outbreak. You could also use the oldest trick in the book and tell your parents it's for a reason other than anti-zed. A strong body and mind are useful in and of themselves.
