The bowie knife, as a weapon not a wall trophy of e-bay, is fairly good it has been used throughout the years to kick the sh!t out of people. The reason is actually the size because of intimidation not for useless cutting but if i put a foot long bowie at your throat you wont move. If, however, you tried this on a mindless zombie it would not work. I,personally, like the bowie knife when it is used as a tactical knife alongside a weapon because then its true potential comes into play as a C.Q.C. weapon. The bowie has a great point which could be driven right into a zombies eye and ripped out without much trouble. Now vote and ill see the results.

I like it due to it's balance. Throw it with enough force, and it'll imbed itself into a wood beam. I can just imagine what it would do to a zombie skull.

[OVERKILL]

 The Bowie has a LOT of forward weight, which leads to powerful swings. It was designed by Jim Bowie in an era where firearms were unreliable and often misfired, and as we all know a knife never jams, misfires or runs out of ammunition (although they can break or become stuck). One made out of good steel that can easily be sharpened and retain it's sharpness is an excellent tool.
 However, since this is a zombie themed site, I voted "Yes" rather than "Hellz Yes". My reasoning being that I do not want to be at arms length of a zombie when blood and puss spews from it's head. Guns, bows spears and even swords go in front of the knife for anti zombie combat, but they are still great tools and have a place.
