I decided against it after I remember the Ruger Blackhawk they tried to sell me because "that $575 pricetag is a good deal, that gun books for over 700 dollars". I don't think MSRP on new Blackhawks are that high. The only reason I even go in there is to buy some ammo that was high priced 20 years ago when they bought it, but since it's still marked with the old price it's a decent value now. I think I'll have to go down state to get good deals, every pawnshop owner here is either really dumb about guns, or just expect everyone to be stupid. Pennington Gap VA seems the same way. Mentioning the C&R makes 'em all think you're competition or something. Wish I had the money to start up my own shop, someone who was actually knowledgeable and treated their customers with respect would make a killin'.

rounds lik the .22 9mm and 38, are great rounds. but wll only be effective as a head shot, and the .22 can penitrate the skull, but doesn't always. a bigg slow bullet like a .41 spl or .44 spl will at least slow them down as you work at that head shot. not saying a magnum, a special.

i chose the 357 and the 44 mags " you feelin luck, punk!" caz of the power and the energy transfer they would have, but the 9mm would be great to caz its small and fast.
