Maybe update the banner some?

I was thinking the banner might need to be upgraded a bit in order to attract more people. Maybe make it a little longer as most banners tend to be 468x60.

There are a lot of graphics forums that would make you one for free if you just do a google search or something.

That's a pretty good idea! I've been working on a few updates for the site that should roll out around the end of the month, but I hadn't even thought of updating the banner.

I think a friendlier banner (png format suggested) really makes or breaks a site. It's the first thing a guest sees and they can judge the rest of the site based on their first impression. A nice banner may lead to more active members.

I agree.  I love this forum already, but the banner isn't very attractive.  I would suggest a different background color (black is always good).  I would also suggest a head-shot (pictures!) of a zombie, instead of the tiny little walking figure you have.  I also agree that the banner should be longer.  I like the gun case, but use those colors to play around with the banner.
