Congrats on the rifle!  Has 6.8 been easy to find?  How does she shoot?

Ammo has been tough, it seems everyone had the same idea as me and bought a 6.8. There are quite a few stores that carry it, but all have been sold out. It shoots okay, only been fired from field positions thus far. Ran a full box through it with no impact shift, intend to do more when I get more ammo. Other stuff keeps coming up and I haven't had the time to set the bench and chronograph up, but intend to do so soon, I saved enough ammo to shoot a few groups.

I got around to shooting the rifle quite a bit more of course, just not writing about it. Hornady 110gr V-Max has been my favorite factory load so far. I've still not gotten around to trying the 120gr SST from them. With the bullet being designed specifically for this cartridge it should do well though. Remington 115gr FMJBT is cheap, but accuracy and consistency just aren't there. I bought 400 rounds on sale from Cabela's a while back. I have to say that the brass is not as bad as I'd read elsewhere, but Hornady is still my pick. I personally would take Remington over SSA. I also bought 500 Remington 115gr bullets for reloading and found one of the reasons why their ammo is sub-par, the bullets are all over the place in weight and size. Some of the noses look different too, like they didn't get completely swaged.
As to reloading, I'm not going to tell you Reloder 10-X and X-Terminator are the greatest ever like on other forums. I will share a bit of my observations on Ramshot TAC. I tried it in a couple of bullet weights. 115 and under, it was bad to not reliably cycle. I tried it with some 130gr Speer Hot-Cor bullets and got good accuracy, velocity and cycling. If loading heavier bullets, TAC seems like a good choice.
