 Robert Rodriguez states that the commentary in PLANET TERROR that the doctor makes about self preservation comes to mind was a quote from his real doctor! So don't think a doctor will offer much help if they feel threatened in the slightest bit. My personal opinion and experience is that most medical personnel are a bunch of pampered sissies ( with the exception here or there, especially with ER and Psych nurses, but I never met a brave Doctor).

yes, everything living and undead loves to shop at wal-mart. Personally i would shop smart, shop S-Mart..............tell me if you get it

 Of course I get it. S MART is the best place to pick up Boomsticks and Boomstick accessories. Depending on who's working in housewares that day, S-MART may be the safest place to be during the outbreak.
 ANY place where you are ill prepared will be bad. I can have enough guns, ammo, food, medical supplies, etc. at home to crack the foundation. But, if I am not at home or can't get there, it doesn't do much good. For me, any place but home is bad. A place I'm not familiar with is worse. My contingencies always concern how to get out of a place and then how to get home.

i have an airsoft rifle and access to my roof so i think i should stay at home. Anywhere else and I'm screwed

 I hate to be in a restroom at a gas station even if there aren't zombies, those places can be pretty nasty.
